Grady began racing in Porsche Club Racing in 1992. In 1996, he graduated to Professional Sports Car and entered the 24 Hours of Daytona finishing 5th in GT. In 1999, Grady debuted in the ALMS driving for Reiser-Callas Racing. He finished 2nd in class at the Daytona 24. At the end of the season, he wound up 10th in GT driver points and that also gave him 10th in the Porsche Cup standings that year. Last year, Grady's ALMS record included a fifth at Sebring and 4th place finishes at Mosport and Laguna Seca.
