By 1996, he had graduated to a championship-winning team in the American Cities Racing League. His career progression towards world-class GT racing competition continued in 1997-98 driving for team Genesis in a Porsche 911. Subsequently, he has returned to the driver's seat beginning with the 12 Hours at Sebring, 2001.
