DICK BARBOUR HITS THE JACKPOT IN LAS VEGAS!

Road Atlanta, GA October 29, 2000 - The Dick Barbour Racing Team finished first and second in The Las Vegas Grand Prix at Las Vegas Motor Speedway - the eleventh round of the 2000 American Le Mans Series Championship

This win represents the eighth win in the eleven events held to date for the Dick Barbour squad. With the Las Vegas win the Team also earned their eight pole of the season, their ninth fastest lap of the race and the eighth race in which they have broken the track's Qualifying Record.

The Las Vegas win was delivered by Sascha Maassen and Bob Wollek in the number 51 Porsche 911 GT3 R. This is the fifth win of the season for Maassen and Wollek.

Teammates Lucas Luhr and Dirk Muller brought home second place - giving the Team their second first and second place finish of the season.

The first and second place finishes put Maassen first in Driver's Points, Wollek in second and Muller and Luhr third and fourth respectively.
