DICK BARBOUR RACING ADDS THIRD 911 GT3 R
FOR GRAND PRIX OF TEXAS

Road Atlanta, GA August 31, 2000 Dick Barbour Racing will compete in the seventh American Le Mans Series race, the Grand Prix of Texas, at Texas Motor Speedway on September 2. The team will enter their two series-leading Porsche 911 GT3 R's - the number 5 car driven by Dirk Muller and Lucas Luhr, and the number 51 car driven by Bob Wollek and Sascha Maassen. A new, third Porsche 911 GT3 R, the number 15 - piloted by Jennifer Tumminelli and Randy Wars will be entered for the Texas event and the balance of the 2000 American Le Mans Series. Veteran Terry Borcheler will join Wars and Tumminelli as a third driver for the Texas race.

The team will arrive in Texas with wins in five of the six ALMS race to date – the 12 Hours of Sebring, the Grand Prix of Charlotte, the Silverstone 500 USA Challenge, the Bitburger/AvD 1000 at the Nurburgring in Germany and the Grand Prix of Sonoma. Dick Barbour Racing is currently first in Team Points with the drivers, Muller, Maassen, Wollek and Luhr in first, second, third and fourth in Driver's Points.

The Grand Prix of Texas will be televised this Sunday, September 3 beginning at 4PM EST.
