DICK BARBOUR RACING ON POLE FOR PORTLAND


Portland, OR September 9, 2000 Dick Barbour Racing dominated qualifying for the eighth round of the American Le Mans Series Championship - the Rose City Grand Prix in Portland, OR.

The number 5 Porsche 911 GT3 R, qualified by Dirk Muller and co-driven by Lucas Luhr grabbed the pole position for tomorrow's event. This is the sixth pole of the season for Muller.

Bob Wollek and Sascha Maassen's number 51 Dick Barbour Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R, with Maassen behind the wheel, secured the second starting position.

With Terry Borcheller in the qualifying seat the Team's new third entry, the number 15, finished the qualifying session seventh. Teammates Randy Wars and Jennifer Tumminelli will share driving duties with Borcheller.
